Expedition Technology Awarded $3 Million Agreement for DARPA’s NGEST Program

Expedition Technology is thrilled to announce that it has been awarded a $3 million Phase 1 agreement under DARPA’s Next Generation Electronic Surveillance Technology (NGEST) solicitation, underscoring our leadership in developing cutting-edge technical solutions to address critical national security challenges. NGEST seeks to develop a new paradigm and corresponding technology for advanced radio frequency (RF) sensing systems in support of tactical operations.

In this effort, Expedition Technology is proud to lead a highly collaborative team that includes experts from the Michigan Technological Research Institute (MTRI) and the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). Together, we will leverage our combined expertise in hardware optimization, machine learning, and systems integration to deliver groundbreaking capabilities that align with DARPA’s ambitious vision for the next generation of sensing technology.

“This effort aligns perfectly with our mission to push the envelope of innovation in applying machine learning to signal processing, scene understanding, and autonomy, ensuring that we remain at the forefront of technological advancement in service to our nation,” said Marc Harlacher, President of Expedition Technology. “We appreciate the trust DARPA places in Expedition Technology and we look forward to working with our outstanding partners at MTRI and UCLA to deliver forward-thinking solutions to some of the most complex problems faced by our national defense systems.”

As we embark on this exciting new project, we look forward to collaborating with DARPA and the broader defense community to shape the future of electronic surveillance technology. Stay tuned for updates as we progress toward achieving significant milestones in this program.
